100% Pure Cashmere
Our entire cashmere socks range is made from 100% pure cashmere yarn, sourced from its authentic home of Mongolia. This means we do not use a cashmere blend, which you will find in cheaper garments.
There are several benefits to using 100% cashmere, including:
- Softness - as a material, cashmere is incredibly soft to the touch, particularly when you compare it to traditional wool, which can be itchy.
- Warmth - cashmere has excellent insulating properties because the cashmere goat lives in extreme weather conditions, which means they have evolved to have an exceptionally well-insulated undercoat.
- Lightweight and Breathable - despite being highly insulating, cashmere is lightweight and breathable, which helps your body naturally maintain its temperature and stops you from getting sweaty.
- Hypoallergenic - cashmere is usually less irritating to your skin when compared to wool or other similar synthetic materials.
Our range comes in various colours: cream, white, black, grey, pink, blue, and brown. So you can match them to your personal style.
Cozy Cashmere Bed Socks Ideal for Sleeping During Cold Winter Nights
In the middle of winter, after coming home from a long day out in the cold, there's nothing better than wrapping up on the sofa or in bed with a cozy pair of bed socks. They keep your toes nice and warm while feeling luxurious to the touch.
According to some studies, warmer feet will help you get to sleep faster too, which makes stylish bed socks a great idea if you've had a stressful day at work.
How does the warmth retention of cashmere socks compare to that of regular wool socks?
While they are both natural fibres, cashmere fibres are finer, and so trap more air than wool, making cashmere a better insulator (and so warmer) than wool socks. Cashmere is also far more fashionable as a fabric, as it's known to be more expensive.
How does the elasticity of cashmere socks compare to that of cotton or synthetic socks?
Cashmere is more delicate than cotton so it will naturally have slightly less elasticity. However, cotton doesn't actually have much natural elasticity, and is usually blended with synthetics like polyester to make it stretchy.
How do I clean these socks?
Cashmere is delicate, and so should be hand washed if possible. If you have to machine wash it, use a delicate washing powder, in a side-mounted drum machine, on a low temperature + slow spin cycle (add it to a mesh cage as well for extra protection).
