The best cashmere comes from goats that live in harsh climates, as they develop a finer undercoat to protect themselves against the extreme cold. The harvesting process involves combing the goats rather than shearing them, which preserves the integrity of the fibres, and each goat produces only a few ounces of usable cashmere per year, highlighting the rarity and value of genuine cashmere products.

You have so many great options to pair our beanies with, but here are a few ideas:

How To Care For It

Cashmere requires a little more care to keep it looking good than normal fabrics.

We recommend you handwash these beanies with a cashmere-safe detergent, and laying flat to dry.

If you can only machine-wash them, then use a delicate, low-temperature cycle, place the hat in a mesh cage for protection, and only use a side-mounted drum washing machine.

Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, as this can cause damage.

Store your cashmere beanie in a breathable cotton bag when not in use to protect it from moths. Additionally, avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause the fibres to weaken and fade.
