100% Pure Cashmere Wool

All our blankets are made from 100% pure and authentic cashmere wool from Mongolia. This is the softest material you can get, perfect for a knitted blanket you want to wrap yourself in. They are made in Italy with the highest quality materials, by master craftsmen, ensuring the stitching is tight and durable.

Use these to decorate furniture, and blend into your existing room style.

Our colours include blue, cream, white, green, brown, pink, black, and grey.

Cashmere Throws vs. Blankets vs. Bedspreads

The main difference between a cashmere throw, a blanket, and a bedspread is the size, with a throw being the smallest (mainly used for decorative purposes), blankets being the second largest (designed to wrap yourself in while on the sofa), and bedspreads being the largest (designed to cover the whole bed, including pillows and sides).

The size you choose will be determined by what you want to use it for:

  • Throws: add colours and textures to smaller seating areas.
  • Blankets: extra warmth and a cosy layer for beds or seating.
  • Bedspreads: decorative and lightweight bed covering.

Offering elegance to your living room, bedroom, sunroom, decking, or garden room.

In our collection, you can customise the size, as well as the colour, on each product page.

Cashmere vs. Wool

Cashmere and wool are both popular choices for a blanket and although both are knitted, they are vastly different materials:

  • Softness: cashmere is well known for being a soft and luxurious material, and unsurprisingly, it's far softer than wool (which has a courser texture).
  • Warmth: both wool and cashmere are good insulators. The main difference here is that cashmere requires less thickness for a similar amount of warmth and will feel lighter (so more elegant and comfortable).
  • Breathability: cashmere is more breathable than most wool types, so your body will be able to regulate its temperature better than with a wool blanket, and so you will overheat less.
  • Price: cashmere is more expensive than wool, as cashmere goats are far rarer. Cashmere is timeless and beautiful, so is well worth the investment.

How to Wash a Cashmere Blanket

Cashmere is a delicate fabric, so washing it by hand with cashmere-friendly detergent is always best.

For those who insist on machine washing it, use a side-drum style machine, place the blanket in a cage for protection, use a low-temp delicate cycle, and use cashmere-friendly washing powder.

This should keep your precious cashmere blanket looking gorgeous for years to come.
